Build Muscle Memory - This will be the easiest of all the front hand grabs. Prepare for this grab by doing several wake jumps using the following technique. Once you're in the air, you are going to want to over-emphasize bringing your left leg up to your body, while leaving your right leg somewhat extended. Next, extend both of your legs to prepare for landing. If you don't, you're most likely going to dig your tip/nose into the water and face plant. Don't try to grab yet, that's Step 2. Once you're solid on this activity, move on to Step 2.
- Get Your Grab On - Now all you have to do is let go of the rope with your left hand and reach down with your arm (not your body) and grab the nose of the board. Once you feel the board, grab onto it like it's a wad of $100 bills.
Once you've mastered the nose grab and it has become second nature to you, try tweaking or boning it out. You can also try combining it with one of your more difficult wake tricks (i.e. 180's, flips, spins, etc.).
