Wakeboarding legend Greg Nelson, now heading up the operations at BoardersParadise.com, called me the other day to tell me about the new Boarders Paradise Cash Rewards program. I must admit that I was only half paying attention as he excitedly outlined the details of their new program. My lack-luster attitude was likely the result of the fact that every time I turn around there seems to be another somewhat meaningless promotion offered to web surfers. However, Greg soon had my full attention.

At first I felt bad and figured I'd missed something while he was explaining the Cash Rewards program. That means that if you start buying a new wakeboard every year, in three years the new boards will only be costing you about $100 a year after the Cash Rewards! So how are they able to do this? Basically, it's something that Boarders Paradise invests in with their advertising dollars as a way to gain loyal customers. "We've been running a similar program for Cope and McPheters boat sales with a whole lot of success," said Nelson. "This program allows us to offer everything you can get at any other website, plus we've added the Cash Rewards on top of it all for no extra cost whatsoever. The whole concept is to offer more reasons to shop at Boarders Paradise than anywhere else."
