We have, once again, stretched the very limits of what can and cannot be done on the Internet with our latest contest. We teamed up with Sidewayz, producers of the new wakeskating film, Fill in the Blanks, to bring you what you most likely have never before seen. That's right...a fill-in-the-blanks contest that's really similar to Wheel of Fortune without the good-looking letter turner. Alright, so maybe you have seen it before, but I'm trying to hype this as much as I can!
Fill in the Blanks showcases the most talented and most complete group of wakeskaters ever to appear in a single film and showcases the massive progression in wakeskating during 2004. It's shot on location throughout Florida, California, Oklahoma, Texas and Mexico. The star-studded cast includes Aaron Reed, Phillip Basino, George Daniels, Clint Tomkins, Thomas Horrell, Leif Erkkila, Danny Hampson, Scott Byerly, Brian Grubb and more.
Sidewayz has generously provided 10 copies of the DVD and 10 of their new 2005 calendars for us to dole out to the winners of our bleeding edge competition. However, the highlight of the prize packages has to be the pair of Sidewayz tee-shirts for the top three winners. One sports the Sidewayz logo for the winner and the other, presumably for the winner's best pal, simply states: My friend won a contest on WakeWorld.com and all I got was this lousy shirt.
To win, entrants simply had to solve the "puzzle," which was a complete sentence that could have been talking about anything that had anything to do with just about anything (or nothing at all). Each day, Vanna turned over another letter that brought the solution that much closer to fruition. Here is the final solution...
