Using the Online Tournament as a training tool
Here are a few suggestions for those wanting to use this as a training tool to improve your riding. These are designed to help you
put together a run and practice it until you are comfortable, confident, and CONSISTENT.
When viewing the Trick List for descriptions and point values, think of your own ability and determine
what tricks fit your riding level. It might be best to start easier and progress over time.
Select your tricks and organize an actual tournament run. In doign so, remember that no two tricks can be done in the same pass.
For example... Two surface 180s back-to-back on the same pass should not be considered. As a suggestion, you might organize your
run to have easier tricks for #1, 2, and 3 and more difficult for #4 and 5. That way, as you get better at performing the harder moves
(tricks #4 and 5) you can bump #1 and 2 off the list rotate in harder tricks at 4 and 5.
Go out on the water and perform your run. You should try to finish each pass within 25 seconds, similar to that of a real tournament. To
involve others in the boat, tell them your trick list and have them be your "judge". Do the run as many times as you need in order to
make a complete pass. Even after completion, you might want to continue the same run until you feel it's time to increase the difficulty.
Now continue building your run and improving your riding! Use the Online Tournament to log your results and track your progress. If you want
to get noticed for your riding abilities and talent, this Online Tournament is a great place to be.

Frequently Asked Questions
How riders are judged
Riders will be judged on the honor system - you either pull the trick or you don't whether it’s a Surface 180
or a Backside Roll. Standings will work 2 ways. The first will be the actual scores as if you were competing for real.
The second scoring method will be a "percentage improved" ranking to allow everyone to compete against everyone no
matter what level rider you are.
How to win prizes
Since it is based on the honor system for trick completion, we will be awarding prizes similar to a raffle. Each and every participant who
joins the Tournament and enters at least ONE SCORE PER RAFFLE PERIOD will have their name added to the drawing. Then every few weeks we will
take a snapshot of our participants, draw names, and announce the winners! In order to stay eligible to win, a rider will then have to enter ANOTHER score
for the next Raffle Round. We will be drawing names from score tallies per period to be determined-
1) Randomly select a name from the scores entered between X/X-X/X, announce winner.
2) Randomly select a name from the scores entered between X/X-X/X, announce winner.
3) Randomly select a anem from the scores entered between X/X-X/X, annoounce winner.
etc, etc, etc...
We'll keep giving prizes until there are no more prizes to give! See our Prize List page for Winner's listing and details.
