Dallas Friday in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. If you have never been to New Hampshire, it has some really pretty scenery. I am here at Lake Sunapee teaching a clinic. The clinic is usually five people in the morning and five people in the afternoon that have signed up to have me teach them wakeboarding.
There are all levels at these clinics. Some are beginners and then there are the intermediate and a few advanced riders. One thing they have in common is they all have a great love of wakeboarding. I wondered how many people in the rather chilly state of New Hampshire could be interested in wakeboarding. Apparantly a bunch. The clinic was sold out for both days. Wett Sports put the event on. I get to ride for the kids (I am so sore still) and get to add to their riding level of wakeboarding. It is really fun to see kids at young ages so stoked on the sport of wakeboarding.
They have me staying in a cabin in the middle of this beautiful scenery that is so remote that my cell phone will not work out here. This is a fun part of wakeboarding. It does get old having to travel so much sometimes. I fly into Orlando airport at 11:30 p.m. this evening and have to be at the airport tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. on a flight to Canada. I am looking forward to Canada because I have never been and I know it is beautiful just like New Hampshire, but I will let you know next week what is going on in Kelowna, BC.
Thanks to Ed Berns and Wett Sports but especially to all the students that came out to the clinic to further their experience in wakeboarding. They were all so great and we all had so much fun, even though the water was chilly!
