The wakeboarding has finished for the 2002 Gravity Games. It was an exciting day. The semis were today and I took first in semis so I was top seed going into finals. The water conditions were not the greatest on Lake Erie; they were very choppy. I was last to go off the dock. I fell on the kicker doing a back roll. My board just got out from under me. I stood my second pass and it came down to the double up. I threw a krypt off the double up and my board got away from me again. I took third and it was great to be on the podium for the second year in a row.
I loved every minute of my stay here in Cleveland. The fans were great and the city of Cleveland has so many things to do. It is a fun place to visit and I have had a blast at the Gravity Games. My flight doesn't leave 'till tomorrow night so I have one more day to spend here in the city. I will try to watch a few of the events and check out the skateboard ramp one more time. That is probably my favorite place to hang out and get as many tips as I can to improve my skateboarding skills.
This is my last diary entry and I want to thank Cleveland.com for offering me the opportunity to write for them. I hope you have enjoyed reading my diary, and I want to thank all the fans that came out to watch the athletes perform. Those of you who signed on to Cleveland.com web site thanks for signing on and I look forward to next year. Cleveland Rocks!
